The attached picture is of the Black Sea, taken today from 'The Sea Garden', in Burgas in Bulgaria, where I am for the next couple of days.
So, after an overnight in Singapore to catch up with a friend, a short layover in Dubai, I arrived in Belgrade, Serbia, on the 26th Of January, 2025. Then it was to Athens by bus, for four or five days, a week later. This was followed by Thessaloniki, which I travelled to by train, also in Greece, and stayed there for roughly the same amount of time as I did in Athens. From there I flew back to Belgrade (Beograd), which is where V's apartment is, and I've been utilising as a base of sorts.
By the 21st of February, I was back on the road once more. Another bus, and it was Sofia, Bulgaria, this time; I shot down and back to Rila Monastery and Boyana Church of St. Nikola and St. Pantaleimon the Penniless for a day trip from there as well. Repetition kicking in now, I spent about four days in Sofia, back onto the bus, east to Plovdiv for the same amount of time, and lastly, onto Burgas which is where I sit now, staying seven days, instead of the usual four I've been spending everywhere else when not in Belgrade.
Saturday I leave, twelve hours later than planned, as my bus was rescheduled.
And then I go south east.
So that's been the last five or six weeks. Over the next few days I will expand individually upon each place I have visited thus far, and attach whatever information I've gleaned, plus photos and videos as well.
